Although not as well known as Jamaican Blue Mountain, Antigua is another coffee royalty. Set in the foothills of the Agua Volcano, at an elevation of 1,650m above sea level, Finca Medina merges traditional coffee growing techniques with modern processing practices to produce stunning coffee. This washed caturra, the traditional method of creating a clean Antigua coffee, is hand sorted for zero defects (which is extremely rare in todays competitive market), any defective beans are re-used locally for sustainability but ony the very best make their way to the Roast-Den where we hand roast in small batches to maximise the flavour potential. Oozing chocolate, treacle and tangerine flavours, with a rich winey overtone this is a speciality coffee that should not be missed. Allow our Nuevo Mundo (New World) selection to sit in the mouth a moment and melon, apple and brazil nuts show themselves, laced with some vanilla and a peppery tingle. Exceptional is not overstating this coffee, it is truly a privilege to indulge in Antigua Coffee.
