Speciality Coffee vs Commercial Grade
We discuss the differences and help participants understand why "Speciality Grade Coffee" and "Speciality Coffees" are often not the same.
What you will Taste
A description of the coffees you will taste, where they are from, the geography and climate information together with some details about the Estate or Finca.
Each participant will have coffee details and tasting notes of 3 coffees provided,
they will then taste all three coffees and then try to match the coffees to the respective
For the more adventurous, there is an option to complete a tasting score sheet (this is not a compulsary part of the course, so no need to feel pressured).
Participants will have an opportunity to mingle with coffee experts and ask questions about Speciality Coffee. The participants will also have an opportunity to purchase coffees at a special 35% discount from the recommended retail price.
The course duration is 1-2Hrs in total, the first hour involves the introduction and tasting and thereater the duration depends on the number of Questions participants have. During the Q&A Session anyone purchasing coffee will have an opportunity to see their coffee being roasted.
When are the Courses?
Courses are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 2pm. (All bookings made prior to 15th February 2017 will remain at 12 Noon).
