Online Coffee Course

The Roast-Den® Online Coffee Course is now available. Built on the hugely successful courses held at the Roastery, we have now made this resource available to people everywhere. By bringing the course online, we have eliminated travel and brought the course to you.

Enhanced with videos, images and essential reading you can still take part in the crucial 'cofffee tasting' element of the course. We have created electronic score sheets and included video tutorials on how to brew the perfect coffees (in either a cafetiere or a carafe). When you enter your tasting scores you will be able to see how your taste aligns with others, just as if you were physically on the course. Clicking on the Hints button will bring up expert taste analysis of the coffee to help spur on your tastebuds.

Bringing the course to the web has allowed us to provide extended content creating an even greater experience. Course completion time is expected to take around 4 Hours (if you work your way through from start to finish) but you can now spread the course over a month.... yes, a whole month of coffee tuition. After registration you will have 30 days to complete your course. When you log back in you will be taken to where you left off and you can work through the course at your own pace.

The coffees are not included in the course fee, you are free to buy your coffee from any supplier but we would encourage you to purchase from the Roast-Den® to get the most out of the tasting comparisons and scoring. UK Customers can have coffee delivered directly to their door and there are purchase links in the course.

If you want to begin a journey into Speciality Coffee, this is the course for you. If you are a seasoned connoisseur you will enjoy benchmarking your tastes against others and all coffee aficionados will love the 'chat'.
